This is the origin of the name "Golden Hot Springs".
The spring quality is a "cold bicarbonate mineral spring".
It is said to be a "moor spring".
Moor springs" have a "cleansing effect" that removes unnecessary dead skin cells and dirt from pores.
Also, because it is "slightly alkaline" with a pH of 8.7, it is said to have a high skin-beautifying and moisturizing effect.
Inamuragasaki Onsen sells a skin-beautifying lotion made with moor springs, "Inamuragasaki Onsen Bihadayu".
"Moor springs" are hot springs that contain organic components from pine trees, which have a high bactericidal effect.
Until the early Heisei period, this was apparently a rare hot spring that had only been confirmed in two places in the world.
