It is also called "Benten-do".
The building is "octagonal" in shape.
(It is said to have been modeled after the Yumedono Hall of Horyu-ji Temple.)
① One is " Happi Benzaiten"
It is said to have been built by "Minamoto no Yoritomo"(the first Shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate)
It is also a National Important Cultural Property .

② The other one is " Myoen Benzaiten .
It is commonly known as " Naked Benzaiten " and is a masterpiece that depicts her holding a biwa.
" Enoshima Benzaiten " is counted as one of the three great Benzaiten in Japan, along with
1 ) Miyajima in Aki and
2) Chikubushima in Omi .
"Enoshima Shrine" is said to be related to "the dragon god".
The story goes that Gozuryu(a five-headed dragon), who had been causing trouble, stopped being evil after falling in love with a celestial Tennyo(heavenly maiden) and married her.
It is said that
Ⓐthe heavenlyl maiden is Benzaiten, who is enshrined at ”Enoshima Shrine ”.
ⒷThe five-headed dragon is also enshrined at” Ryukomyojin Shrine ”in Koshizuka .
Therefore, it is said that visiting both Ⓐ"Ryukomyojin Shrine", which enshrines the five-headed dragon , and Ⓑ" the Benten-do Hall of Enoshima Shrine", which enshrines the heavenly maiden (Benten-do), will bring you good fortune .
