This is the first lighthouse built by a private company.

It was built in 2002 as part of a project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Enoshima Electric Railway.

 

You can see Mt. Fuji.

There is a glass observation floor and an outdoor observation deck, and you can see a 360-degree view.

You can also see the Boso Peninsula and the Izu Peninsula.
The sun setting on the horizon, which can be seen from the observation deck, is very beautiful.

The lighthouse is about 60 meters tall.
When combined with the height of Enoshima itself, the observation deck is about 107 meters above sea level.

It has the longest light reach of any private lighthouse in Japan, reaching 46 km.
It has an effective luminous intensity of 390,000 candelas.

The maximum capacity is expected to be 188 people.

 

You can see the lights come up at night.

The annual winter illuminations are known as the "Jewel of Shonan."

They are recognized as one of the three biggest illuminations in the Kanto region.

A. On weekdays, you can view them until 5pm.
B. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, you can view them until 8pm.
